Thankful

It’s been a long few weeks. A long, exhausting, nausea-filled, twelve weeks. But last Thursday we got to hear something that made it all worth it.

We heard the heartbeat of a little baby. A little baby who is due to arrive at the end of November.

We are excited, hopeful, and happy. But mostly we are thankful.

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
